Good To Know
Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at this Dinner Show. Cost $60 per ticket, which is a lot, but you get a huge meal, unlimited food. The show we attended started at 5 pm, and they told us to come 1/2 hour ahead. When we went in, the people who were there were already being served. I would suggest that you go maybe 45 minutes ahead so you can eat without being as rushed. My goodness, when they're ready to start they want to take all the food up. You can put a heaping amount on your plate and they'll put the dessert on the table, but then they leave and don't return. Once the show starts, the service is over. Food was great! Fried chicken breasts (no other cuts), real mashed potatoes, slaw, rolls, stuff like that. It was served real cute, and the server called herself our cousin. Here's some advice for the show: don't volunteer when they ask for people to go up on the stage. They get people to go up, but they don't tell you that you're going to have to pass a rope or something all the way through your clothes and to the next person. IT was stupid and would have been embarrassing to participate in. The show itself was pretty cute, sort of simple, but pretty fun, with country jokes. The actors and dancers were very talented for the most part. I know they work hard---some of them worked in the souvenir counters before the show, stuff like that. We're really glad we went.
The standing in line with ne to get your tickets was a little time consuming but worth it! I think what takes so long is the portraits that everyone has taken before I he show starts. We had nice seats that were located 20-25 feet away from the stage. The food was excellent! We all started off with a tastey soup. The chicken was the best any of us had ever tasted! The corn on the cob, the barbecued pork and the homemade mashed potatoes were delicious...You had your choice of peach cobbler or chocolate pudding. Both were so fresh and delightful....The show had so much comedy and the singing and dancing was so cool to watch for the whole family. We would most certainly recommend this show to all ages...
The food was delicious! Fried chicken, pulled pork, corn on the cob, mashed taters, cole slaw, creamy vegetable soup, rolls and butter and choice of drink(soda, ice tea, etc), with "spirits" for sale(not included in cost). Then choice of banana or chocolate pudding for dessert. And you can get seconds on all the food! The server was very friendly and accommodating. The show was about an hour and was a lot of fun with audience interaction. The music was very well done and the musicians and singers were excellent! It was definitely the best show I have seen in Gatlinburg and well worth the money!
The food was great although we felt a little rushed to eat and have the table cleaned. It is supposed to be all you can eat, but no one asked if we wanted any refills. Gave this review 5 stars due to the show and the fact the food was good. Service was excellent. Would definitely recommend.
